  • No more clipper panic. A soft spinning pad files nails down. There's no blade near the fingertip.
  • Fewer face scratches. Filed edges stay smooth and rounded, not sharp like clipped corners.
More about it
  • Nail time on your lap. A quiet, low-vibration motor, so you can file during a feed or a nap.
  • Grows with your baby. Soft heads for newborn nails, firmer heads for toddler fingers and toes.
Safety & care
  • Hold your baby's finger steady and keep the pad on the nail, not the skin.
  • Start on the slow speed and stop if your baby pulls away.
  • Small heads: store them in the case, out of children's reach.
  • Take the head off and wipe it with a dry cloth after each use.
  • Keep the file and heads dry, and store them in the case.
  • Swap to a fresh head when one starts to feel smooth.

The clipper problem

Tiny nails, zero snips

Baby nails grow fast, tear easily and are sharp enough to scratch a cheek. Clippers mean squeezing a wriggly finger and hoping you miss the skin. This file works the other way round: a small pad spins against the nail and wears it down bit by bit, so there's nothing to snip and nothing to catch.

Green nail file and its clear case of grinding heads on a tidy nursery changing-table shelf

How it feels

A gentle hum instead of a nervous squeeze

Pick the slow speed for soft newborn nails or the faster one for toddlers. Hold a finger, touch the pad to the nail tip and glide along the edge. The motor is quiet and low-vibration, so you can do it while your baby feeds or dozes on your lap.

Heads for every stage, in one tidy case

The set comes with several grinding heads, from soft polishing pads for the first months to firmer ones for thicker toddler nails. Swap them in seconds, then click everything back into the clear case. It lives in the changing-table drawer or the diaper bag.

Questions, answered

Will it hurt my baby?

The pad files the nail; it doesn't cut. Keep it on the nail tip, start on the slow speed and use the softest head for newborns. If your baby pulls away, pause and try again later.

How loud is it?

It has a quiet, low-vibration motor: expect a low hum and a light buzz. You can use it while your baby feeds or naps on your lap.

From what age can I use it?

From the newborn weeks. The softer heads are meant for babies under 6 months and the firmer ones for older babies and toddlers.

Can I use it on toenails too?

Yes. Use the same slow, gentle strokes. The firmer heads help with thicker toddler toenails.

Can I use it on my own nails?

It's made for small, thin nails. It can tidy an adult nail edge, but it will be slow on thick adult nails.

How do I clean it?

Pop the head off, wipe it with a dry cloth and put everything back in the case. Keep it away from water.
